We are looking for a GL /Tax Accountant to join our finance team located in Antwerp. We offer: We offer: • Career Development • Competitive Compensation and Benefits (meal vouchers, insurances, company car, ...) • Global Opportunities Tasks and Qualifications: What You'll Do Coordinate the shared service center’s GL accounting, assuring the correct reporting and closing activities Responsible for VAT and tax reporting Update and control the IFRS accounts in the internal leasing package Close cooperation with shared service center and purchase team for postings, cost allocations, customer and vendor payments Preparation and filing of monthly and annual reporting packages for local and global management Prepare and coordinates the internal and external audit, annual account Understand and update the accounting flows to close correctly and report in time Support controlling team for budget/forecast What You'll Need Minimum a bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance You have 5-6 years of experience in accounting with a strong involvement in vat/tax reporting preferably in an international environment Strong experience in Belgian VAT reporting SAP knowledge Experience dealing in month/year end closings Proactive, hands-on approach to project management A flexible mindset, and a positive attitude, able to evolve in a dynamic corporate environment Work accurate, in detail and independent Experience implementing processes and control environments A team player and analytical problem solver Fluency in Dutch and English
