Aliaxis is taking its EMEA Data Program to the next level, strong Data Governance is at the heart of this evolution. To support our ambition, we’re looking for a Data Governance Lead EMEA who will boost the quality, consistency, and performance of our data operations across the region. In this key role, you’ll streamline processes, strengthen data ownership, remove bottlenecks, and help build a coherent, high‑quality data landscape across functions and countries. Key Accountabilities Data ownership & accountability frameworks Governance & compliance Business Process Optimization Change Management Training Data Quality Responsibilities Map, define & maintain clear roles and responsibilities for data ownership,  stewardship and access Develop and implement enterprise-wide data governance policies, standards, and procedures Analyze and redesign data-related business processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and usability Lead change management initiatives to support adoption of new governance practices Create & execute training plan to ensure data completeness & compliance with the data model & process Requirements Master’s degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Data Science or a related field Experience working in international, multi‑country environments, ideally within a matrix organization Proven ability to partner with both technical teams (IT, data engineers, solution teams) and business stakeholders, translating needs into actionable data governance practices Strong communication and change‑management skills, with the ability to create clarity, bring people along, and embed new ways of working Effective influencer across cultures and hierarchies, able to challenge constructively and gain buy‑in Hands‑on knowledge of data platforms and tools, including databases, data warehouses, and data cataloguing solutions Process‑driven mindset with a genuine interest in data topics, governance frameworks, and continuous improvement Fluent in English – any additional European language is a plus Are you the one we are looking for?
