We are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a double-day shift pattern. In this role, you will carry out maintenance and installation of engineering services, plant, and equipment within a manufacturing environment. You’ll play a key part in ensuring equipment effectiveness and availability, supporting our production teams to achieve performance targets. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment. Ensure compliance with safety standards and company EHS policies. Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults promptly. Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S and Kaizen events. Participate in planned maintenance shutdowns and major repairs. Maintain accurate documentation of interventions and maintenance history. Provide operational cover for shift engineers when required. What We’re Looking For Strong mechanical and/or electrical skills with experience in a manufacturing setting. Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot engineering systems. Knowledge of CMMS platforms and lean manufacturing principles. Completed mechanical or electrical apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3) or equivalent. HNC/HND qualification desirable. Experience with plastic extrusion or injection moulding is a plus. IPAF & FLT training desirable.
