To operate service client’s equipment in accordance with project and service agreements as a resident technician. To identify and feedback opportunities for improvement in the manufacture or performance of systems and products. To ensure all safety standards are including Dematic employees, contractors, and customers alike. What we offer: Key challenges/specific functions: Use hazard identification tools and systems to ensure safe work practices are used and work areas and customer sites are hazard free. Resolve within a reasonable time any equipment faults and ensure quality of output. Involvement in continual improvement activities. Ensure compliance of all health & safety legislation. Ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted on time and correct. Carry out on-site preventative maintenance, service actions and other routine tasks according to customer requests and contract obligations. Escalate issues in a timely manner. Ensure high standard of service, skill, ability with current products. Ensure Operations are informed of any improvements. Develop and maintain effective on-going relationships with customer. Report on designed/installed equipment, which is not performing to the design specifications. Manage allocated assets including spare parts, computers and tools. Recognize and report sales opportunities for Customer Service and all other divisions of Dematic. Represent the company in a professional manner at all times. Ensure customer satisfaction on all assignments undertaken Knowledge/experience Communication in English (written & spoken). Background or experience in mechanical or electrical or mechatronics or factory automation or PLC. (All “or”). Understanding of OH&S requirements. Ability to interact and liaise with all team members. Customer focus and relationship . Ability to operate alone or as part of a team. Ability to Analyse. Ability to work without supervision. Tasks and Qualifications: - Take care of your own health and safety as well as that of others including the implementation of risk control measures to prevent injuries or illnesses. - Prevent pollution to the environment. - Co-operate with Dematic policies, procedures and instructions including timely reporting of hazards, incidents and injuries via Dematic’s reporting process. - Other responsibilities as outlined in WHS&E system documentation. - Comply with relevant statutory and legal requirements as required. - Commit to and cooperate with Dematic’s quality management systems and processes.
