This position offers an unmatched opportunity to develop extensive experience in   nearly every   specialty area of healthcare. As an RN, you will   assist   fellow caregivers in delivering exceptional care, from   initial   introduction to final send-off. And if   you’re   relocating   to join us, you could be eligible for relocation   assistance .    Our Center for Workplace Violence Prevention and Caregiver Well-Being sets caregiver safety as a priority,   identifying ,   reporting   and responding to incidents and providing safety resources.     A caregiver in this position works   rotating   days /evenings   from 7:00AM –   7 :30PM   or 3:00PM – 3:30PM ,   including rotating weekends and holidays.   A caregiver who excels in this role will:    Provide nursing care in an operative setting to patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.    Perform scrub and circulating functions.    Prepare the OR, surgical   instruments   and equipment for use.    Perform circulating functions, including monitoring,   recording   and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of   patient   before, during and after procedure.   Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:    Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing   (Diploma, ASN or BSN program)   Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)   Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)   or American Red Cross   Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross   within six months of hire in areas performing moderate/procedural sedation   Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:   Bachelor’s   of Science in Nursing (BSN)   One year of RN experience   Physical Requirements: Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time. Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Light Work. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 25 pounds and ability to push, pull, and navigate supply carts weighing > than 75 pounds periodically .
