You’ll lead the design, development, and implementation of actionable analytics solutions which help in strengthening the risk profiles across Personal and Small Business Banking. You’ll collaborate with partners from Business Controls, Risk Management, Product, and Frontline to identify and address emerging risk trends by leveraging data and analytics. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 2-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. How you’ll succeed Innovative Problem Solving – Actively lead the development, delivery, and continuous improvement of complex data analytics and visualization solutions. Focus on quality, depth of analysis, and clear communication of actionable recommendations. Collaboration – Continuous collaboration with internal and external partners is key to success. Be open-minded, constantly acquire new knowledge, and share ideas to improve existing processes. Communication – Actively listen to understand a business problem and effectively articulate data analysis and interpretation using language that resonates with your audience. Consulting – Methodically break down complex business problems, deliver recommendations and grow solutions to create sustainable progress for our projects and programs. Who you are You can demonstrate experience in using analytical, data management, and visualization tools such as Azure, R, Python, SAS, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Power Platform, VBA. Knowledge of CIBC data sources/applications/ platforms is an asset. 3+ years of work experience in a fast paced analytics environment. You give meaning to data. You enjoy wrangling large data sets and making sense of information. You're confident in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way. You are a forward thinker. From building strategic solutions to writing good code/unit tests, you follow best practices with the intent of creating sustainable impact far into the future. You have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field or equal work experience preferred. You love to learn .
