To learn more about CIBC, please visit CIBC.com What you’ll be doing As a Manager Strategic Initiatives, you will have salesforce.com knowledge and will be the liaison between the business stakeholders and the technology development teams, responsible for ensuring the business requirements and vision are clearly documented and communicated As an emerging leader within the team, you will be leveraging project experience to analyze and understand business needs and provide clear and constant communication among various business stakeholder groups. You will work closely with the business team, stakeholders and delivery team to provide support in the development of enhancements and incident resolution, with the business needs in mind. You will provide a very high level of professional service to various stakeholders (both internal and external) consistent with CIBC’s core values and is expected to act as a positive agent of change within the organization. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote. How you’ll succeed Requirements documentation & user Experience - Ensure that requirements are clearly, accurately and thoroughly documented and understood for both system changes and/or process changes. Add value and consistency to the user experience. Experience must include both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Stakeholder engagement & relationship management - Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather requirements and manage their expectations. Program effectiveness & KPI monitoring - Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and KPIs to ensure success of the change initiatives. Product backlog & business requirement translation - Develop a strong knowledge of the product backlog. Work closely within a project team, ensuring business requirements are translated into the right digital technology products. Project support & roadblock resolution - Support the project team in overcoming roadblocks. Ensure minimal impact on business processes. Project delivery & lifecycle management - Manage timely and accurate delivery of tasks for assigned projects through all stages of the project life cycle, from concept to implementation. Track tasks, map process flows, document requirements/stories, liaise with Business, Development and Vendors, execute communication plans, and keep stakeholders informed of unresolved issues, areas of concern, and deviations from project timelines. Test validation & change transition - Provide support and guidance with test validations and implementation. Manage transitioning the change to a steady state maintenance function. Enterprise delivery framework & project Initiation - Deliver on various artifacts to meet CIBC’s Enterprise Delivery Framework in a timely manner to initiate projects and secure funding. Assist in the creation of Business Cases and cost/benefit analysis to ensure quantitative and qualitative benefits are achieved. Who you are You can demonstrate experience of 3-5 years in a financial services industry, preferably back office environment. You can demonstrate experience in Salesforce and it is an asset if you have Business Banking. You can demonstrate experience in MS Office, MS Visio and JIRA/Confluence.
