Als Patent Counsel der Patentabteilung Industrial Quality & Research im Corporate Legal & Patents beraten Sie in einem erfahrenen Team den Fachbereich für Mikroskopie am Standort Jena umfassend zu gewerblichen Schutzrechten, Patentstrategien im Wettbewerbsumfeld und stellen den rechtssicheren Aufbau, die Verteidigung und Durchsetzung des Schutzrechtsportfolios im nationalen und internationalen Kontext sicher. Ihre Rolle Patentrechtliche Beratung unter Berücksichtigung bestehender Wettbewerberrechte sowie zur Entwicklung von Umgehungs- und Abwehrlösungen. Aufbau und Pflege des nationalen und internationalen Schutzrechtsportfolios inklusive Führung von Anmelde- und Erteilungsverfahren. Analyse der Rechtsentwicklung und Rechtsprechung im Patent-, Gebrauchsmuster-, Geschmacksmuster- und Arbeitnehmererfinderrecht und Ableitung praxisnaher Empfehlungen. Analyse von Fremdschutzrechten zur Vermeidung von Verletzungsrisiken und Entwicklung kreativer Umgehungsstrategien mit unseren jeweiligen technischen Experten. Verantwortung für Einspruchs-, Nichtigkeits- und Durchsetzungsverfahren vor nationalen und internationalen Instanzen, insbesondere durch die Steuerung externer Kanzleien. Schulung interner Teams, insbesondere von Entwicklern, und externer Partner. Ihr Profil Abgeschlossenes Studium im Bereich Naturwissenschaften oder Ingenieurswesen (Universität) und Qualifikation als European Patent Attorney und/oder Patentassessor, Fortgeschrittene Kenntnisse der Optik, idealerweise in der hochauflösenden Lichtmikroskopie (Laser-Scanning-Mikroskope, Lichtblattmikroskope), Mind. 5 Jahre praktische Tätigkeit in einer Industriepatentabteilung oder in einer Patentanwaltskanzlei, Erfahrung im Führen und Koordinieren eines weltweiten Anwaltsnetzwerkes, Sicher in der prägnanten Darstellung technischer und juristischer Sachverhalte Verhandlungssichere Englischkenntnisse Bereitschaft zur Weiterbildung Your ZEISS Recruiting Team: Carina-Rachele Binding-Germano, Franziska Bäuerle
