Job Description:     The Director will act as a business owner and gatekeeper for software initiatives within the Secure Development Lifecycle framework, own SBOM and Trust Center, ensuring alignment with HPE Networking’s growth objectives, ARR/NRR metrics, and evolving PLM frameworks. This role also carries a strategic enablement dimension, supporting PLM and Engineering leaders as they implement cross-boundary software improvements. Key Responsibilities: Software Business Acceleration & Analysis Own  ongoing software business analysis  for the Networking BU, identifying growth levers across software acceleration, monetization, and cross-BU initiatives. Partner with finance, product, and strategy teams to  drive software revenue performance , with a focus on ARR and NRR metrics. Translate business insights into actionable recommendations that inform roadmap prioritization, investment decisions, and execution models. SDL and SBOM Provide  coaching and support to PLM leaders , including assisting individuals ramping into PLM Cross-BU roles Act as a trusted advisor to senior product and business leaders, helping elevate software business maturity across the BU, including but not limited to: Definition of SDL for the BU Implementation of SBOM repeatable process Single POC for the development of HPE’s Trust Center Influence without direct authority, using clarity, rigor, and credibility to drive alignment. Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of experience in  product management, PLM, business strategy, or software monetization  within enterprise networking, infrastructure, or platform businesses. Proven experience operating at  Director level  in a complex, matrixed organization. Strong understanding of  software business models , including ARR/NRR, subscriptions, hybrid HW/SW offers, and platform economics. Demonstrated ability to define and scale  process frameworks  (SDL, SBOM, governance models, lifecycle standards). Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across BUs. Experience working across  engineering, finance, GTM, and corporate programs .
