Job Description:     The Channel Services Sales Specialist is responsible for selling HPE operational services to HPE channel partners (distributors and resellers) in an assigned geographic territory focusing on renewing the existing HPE services contracts and selling new services plus up-selling services within existing HPE end-customer accounts. The position requires a solid understanding of the services value proposition and tasks are fulfilled in close relationship with HPE named services sales partners. Responsibilities: Together with HPE channel services sales partners manage contracts renewals and new services business pipeline, forecasting and ensuring targeted/forecasted quarterly channel sales results for the assigned territory Work together with HPE channel partners to generate additional service business and upselling services within the existing accounts Be the single point of contact for HPE Channel partners and internally for other HPE sellers in questions related to HPE services sales processes, tools, services portfolio and pricing Run regular governance meetings with the partners for funnel/forecast follow-up Create channel services business/sales development plan together with category management and follow up the initiatives in regular QBR’s Education and Experience Required: University or Bachelor's degree preferred. Demonstrated achievement of a sales role with quota, diversity of business customers engagement and higher level customer interface experience. Typically 1-2 years of experience in specialty sales. Fluency in Danish and English languages required Knowledge and Skills: Solid communication and presentation skills within IT at the channel partners manager level and internally for HPE sales, if needed for end-customers as well Conceptualizes and articulates well-targeted solutions in area of specialty - product, service, solution -- from proposal to contract sign- off. Have enough knowledge about a product, service or solution to be able to qualify a deal. Negotiates profitable deals so that the company can expand opportunities based on the existing business and increase the company's footprint and revenue. Opportunity prospecting as related to specialty area and in expanding existing client business, in order to generate leads/referrals to account team. Maintain knowledge of industry trends, associated solutions, and key partner/ISV solutions. Regular use of SFDC updating deal profile and forecasting accurately.
