What You'll Do: We seek a software engineer to develop highly secure SD-WAN/SASE product, “HPE Edge Connect”, for on-prem and cloud environments.  The candidate will design, implement and maintain unicast and multicast IP routing infrastructure You will proactively work on improving the quality and performance of the product What You Need To Bring:  BS or MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering 5-7+ years of software development experience on Linux platforms Strong C/C++ programming and debugging skills Experience in software integration of routing stacks for dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, PIM, IGMP with thorough knowledge of RIB/FIB, Netlink, ECMP, and routing metrics Strong background in design and implementation of software for physical and virtual (VLAN, Bridges, LAG/LACP) interfaces with v4/v6 addresses Experience in neighbor management software using ARP and NDP tables Expertise in Linux networking stack including iproute2, libnl and kernel parameters tuning via sysctl Strong multicore, multithreaded software development background Additional Skills: Cross Domain Knowledge, Design Thinking, Development Fundamentals, Full Stack Development, Release Management, Security-First Mindset, User Experience (UX) What We Can Offer You: Health & Wellbeing We strive to provide our team members and their loved ones with a comprehensive suite of benefits that supports their physical, financial and emotional wellbeing.
