This role interacts with and contributes to the professional development and image of all unit staff practicing in a Shared Governance model of nursing practice. As a Registered Nurse (RN) at Shepherd Center, you will be part of an amazing team committed to helping people with a temporary or permanent disability caused by injury or disease, rebuild their lives with hope, independence, and dignity. Our nursing model combines relationship-based care with an evidence-based clinical approach. This allows for a stronger connection between patient and nurse and promotes individualized care that helps patients achieve their best outcomes.   You will work on a multidisciplinary team and be empowered to advocate for your patients. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with your patients who have a 51-day average length of stay.
