Primary Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for Training to include New Hire Orientation; Refresher and Post-Accident Training. Provide overall leadership and direction on safety while promoting a positive safety culture. Build and implement safety plans in conjunction with HSE and Operations teams. Conduct routine facility and equipment inspections. Lead and direct the fixed-route safety and training program. Teaches and supervises classroom training content to guarantee compliance. Working knowledge of safety metrics and calculations to include TRIR; DOT Accident Rates, etc. Generates and maintains all necessary driver files. Investigate events, accidents, and work-related injuries. Education: High School diploma and combination of work experience Requirements Knowledgeable of DOT policies, OSHA standards, and ADA requirements A Class "B" or "A" commercial driver's license is Preferred.
