Scheduled Weekly Hours: 24 Gundersen Health System is looking for an RN to join the PACU/recovery team! This opportunity will allow you a variety of patient care experiences, work-life balance and to work with a great team! What you will do: 0.6 fte; 48 hours every two weeks Schedule: One week – Thursday and Friday 12-hour shifts (10:30am-11pm) Second week – Monday and Tuesday 12-hour shift (10:30am-11pm) * hours may flex based on department need Approximately (1) weeknight call shift every 6 weeks from 11pm – 7am. Approximately 3 weekend call shifts every 6 months Weekend call hours include Friday 11pm – 7am, Saturday 7pm – 7am, or Sunday 7pm – 7am 1 scheduled holiday per year Weeknight call is assigned; weekend call is self-scheduled. 1 hour response time for call shifts A fast-paced department cares for a variety of surgical specialties varying in age from pediatric to geriatric Recovery room/PACU primary responsibility is monitoring levels of consciousness, vitals, and treating post operative side effects such as pain or nausea.          What you will get: Strong team with a lot of experienced staff Departmental leadership support including Clinical Manager, Clinical Supervisor and Professional Development Nurse (Nurse Educator) Starting pay of $38.01/hr and up, based on your years of experience, as well as generous shift/weekend/holiday differentials Comprehensive and generous benefits package (Medical, Dental, Life Ins, HSA/FSA) ensuring your comfort and well-being as a valuable team member Substantial Retirement Contribution (401k with match & annual Base Contribution) Support for your career growth with access to our Career Development Center What you will need: RN license to work in the state of Wisconsin Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing BLS for healthcare providers Minimum 2 years RN experience Emplify Health is comprised of two of the Midwest’s most respected healthcare systems, Bellin Health and Gundersen Health System.
