Summary Works with sales and engineering teams to identify product that fits the customer needs. Establishes customer requirements and purchasing specifications. Supports the customer to resolve technical issues in the development of product prior to market release and in support of product after sales. Works with engineering and production teams in response to customer complaints to resolve quality issues. Acts as primary technical contact with the customer for issues with selecting and using purchased products and in resolving priority quality concerns. Job Description Your Role... Provides technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation and maintenance of company products. Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions. Works with R&D teams to build prototypes based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of an application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client. Ensures that the product application/solution is functioning according to specifications. Acts as primary contact to provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications.  Your Profile... Bachelor’s / Master's degree in a technical area of study such as engineering or physics (or equivalent experience) with 5+ years of experience in the design, production, or service of X-ray tube assemblies or X-ray imaging equipment. Proficient in utilizing business tools such as:  E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired Travel will be required between 10% and 35% of the time. Environment and Physical Demands Employee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation. Light or sedentary work that will occasionally require employee to lift/move up to 25 lbs. Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or moving heavy equipment and/or supplies occasionally. Reaching above and below the shoulder occasionally. Above-average agility and dexterity with the ability to hold, grasp and manipulate small parts and use hand and power tools occasionally. Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and handle physical exertion, such as long periods of standing, walking, bending, crouching, stretching, reaching, repetitive motion, or similar activities. Work environments include repetitive hand motion.
