What's Available: 0.8-1.0 FTE available (32-40 hours/week) Shift: Monday - Friday, 8-hour shifts between the hours of 7:30am-4:30 pm Rotating call coverage on Friday 4pm to Monday 7:30am, once every 4 weeks Onsite position Work location: La Crosse, WI main campus What you will do: Obtain a thorough patient history. Perform and/or assist physician with EEG ensuring accurate and efficient neurodiagnostic evaluation. Including such things as EEG for sleep deprived patients, routine EEG’s, daytime long-term monitoring, and consults for hospitalized patients Provides patient education and overall support/comfort during testing procedures. What you need: Graduate of an Electro neurodiagnostic or Polysomnographic program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) or Approved ABRET EEG Exam Practice Pathway Track or Associate Degree Track   (ABRET : EEG Exam) Registered Electro neurodiagnostic Technologist (REEGT) within 2.5 years of hire date Current Infant-Adult Basic Life Support for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning) from one of the following programs: American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Sign on bonus paid after 6 months of employment at Gundersen Health System.
