About the Role Join Baker Hughes as an Applications Engineer specializing in Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP) systems . In this role, you will design, plan, and optimize ESP applications to ensure flawless execution across pre-job planning, job execution, and post-job analysis . You will work closely with Service Delivery Coordinators and cross-functional teams to deliver technical programs that maximize well performance and meet client objectives.   Key Responsibilities Lead the Manage the Job Cycle (MtJC) process for ESP operations. Design and validate ESP job programs, including risk mitigation and contingency plans . Perform offset job analysis , engineering modeling, and hazard identification. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure all technical constraints are addressed. Provide on-demand technical support during ESP installation, recovery, and troubleshooting. Compare planned vs. executed jobs , document lessons learned, and recommend improvements. Participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis (RCFA). Advise on product improvement opportunities for repetitive failures. Support sales with technical recommendations and application design .   Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Petroleum) or related STEM field. 5+ years of experience in ESP systems : installation, recovery, troubleshooting, and optimization. Knowledge of ESP configurations : Y-Tool, Dual ESP, encapsulated systems. Familiarity with VSD programming , downhole sensors, and performance monitoring. Proficiency in Autograph , SAP, Beck, and data visualization tools. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to travel to rig sites and be on-call outside normal business hours. English proficiency: B2–C1 . Preferred Skills Experience presenting technical solutions to clients and peers. Ability to lead cross-functional projects and mentor junior engineers. Operational background in artificial lift optimization and run-life analysis .   Why Join Us?
