We are seeking a Pre-Analytical Services Associate to join IQVIA Laboratories business  in Valencia, CA .   Shift M-F 7am-3:30pm We hire passionate innovators who drive healthcare forward through thoughtful and inclusive collaboration. If you want to discover a career with greater purpose, join us as we transform and accelerate research and development.     As the Pre-Analytical Services Associate, you will be responsible for assisting with a variety of routine activities associated with receipt of clinical specimens .     What you’ll be doing:   Assisting with receipt of consignments and shipments , opening of shipments and the quality check of patient info forms.   Escalat ing incorrect, missing information, or damaged shipments to senior level staff .     Disposing and/or recycling of kit shipping supplies correctly.   Ensur ing specimens are not left in kit packaging by conducting a secondary check of shipping materials.   Support ing and respond ing to after-hour alarms and/or other job critical functions.   Assis ting in maintenance of equipment , supply inventory functions , and general cleanup of workstations.   P erform ing various administrative duties as required .   H andl ing receipt of compounds and control material and following safety procedures.     What We Are Looking For:   High School Diploma or equivalent Required.   Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.     The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:   Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints). Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
