Come Innovate Motion with Us We are seeking a Hardware Engineer to take ownership of the full product lifecycle—from concept through validation—ensuring compliance with automotive standards, as well as high reliability and performance. This is a newly created position in a rapidly growing and innovative market, offering the opportunity to work on projects involving completely new technologies for electric and hybrid vehicles. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop forward-thinking solutions for next-generation mobility. Key responsibilities include the design and development of high-voltage BLDC motor controllers (up to 1000V, <20KW) for automotive cooling fan applications. Your Responsibilities Develop high-voltage BLDC motor controllers, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and component selection (MOSFETs, IGBTs, gate drivers, capacitors) Optimize designs for efficiency, thermal management, and EMI/EMC compliance Run simulations to assess circuit behaviour and thermal performance (SPICE, MATLAB / Simulink) Lead the activities for building samples and prototypes before the start of serial production; define testing requirements to validate the prototype Prototype testing using oscilloscopes, power analysers, and environmental chambers Conduct EMI/EMC testing and troubleshoot issues Validate designs according to automotive standards (ISO 26262, AEC-Q100/101) Produce final documentation for PCBA production (BOM - schematic - Gerber file - component specification) Collaborate with our international team of engineers Your Profile BSc or MSc degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or related Ideally more than 3 years of relevant experience in automotive industry Previous working experience with High Voltage power electronics (specifically automotive BLDC motor controllers) is mandatory Relevant knowledge in areas of automotive communication protocols, DVP&R processes and automotive standards Proficiency in Altium Designer, Cadence and simulation tools (LTSPICE, MATLAB) Good English language skills are mandatory; French or German would be advantage Teamwork oriented and able to utilize his skills in a multicultural environment Prominent professional curiosity and willingness to learn Open to occasionally travel across European and Asian locations What we offer A key role in a new and innovative EV project Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and global collaboration Opportunities for professional growth and skill development Come join our global, inclusive & diverse team Our purpose is to improve the quality of life of everyone we touch through our innovative motion systems.
