About the Role: As a Business Development Manager with Solenis, you will be responsible for driving new account acquisitions, expanding existing business, and building strong client relationships across the Mining, Heavy Process Industries (HPI), Chemical Processing Industries (CPI), and other heavy industry sectors in Malaysia and Brunei . You will work closely with the District Manager and technical teams to deliver consistent, sustainable, and profitable growth. Key Responsibilities: Identify and develop new business opportunities across Malaysia and Brunei Drive growth in both new and existing accounts through effective senior-level selling Lead the preparation and delivery of professional proposals and presentations in collaboration with the local sales team Secure new business and exceed revenue target Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers at customer sites Provide professional on-site support, including water analysis and testing, as required Ensure customer expectations are consistently met and exceeded Collaborate closely with commercial, technical, and support teams to deliver customer solutions Maintain a strong focus on safety and ensure full compliance with workplace safety standards What You’ll Bring to Us : Minimum 15 years of experience in Heavy Process Industries (HPI), Chemical Processing Industries (CPI) or a related industry; water treatment experience is an advantage Strong understanding of industrial processes and water treatment Demonstrated capability in business development, consultative selling, and closing complex opportunities Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Relevant tertiary qualifications in a technical, scientific, or industry-related discipline Fluency in English is required; additional regional languages are an advantage Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% What We Offer: Competitive salary and bonuses Competitive health and wellness benefit plan Continuous professional development and growth opportunities We understand that candidates will not meet every single desired job requirement.  If your experience looks a little different from what we’ve identified and you think you can bring value to the role, we’d love to learn more about you.
