The Associate Scientist reports to Senior Scientist and is part of the Protein development platform department and located in Cambridge (UK) and is a lab-based role (on site). In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Perform Expression of Proteins (including antibodies) Perform Purification of Proteins (including antibodies) Assist in developing and optimizing our Expression and purification systems The essential requirements of the job include: A PhD or BSc and/or MSc with relevant experience in a Life Sciences subject 5 plus years of hands-on experience in Protein Expression and or Purification. Excellent attention to detail with good organizational skills It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: Molecular Biology, Protein design or DNA preparation Performing to high quality standards within the lab; ensuring the lab is compliant with all external and internal quality standards, and compliance with all health and safety guidelines.
