Job Description Summary This position operates Surface Mount Technology (SMT) electronics manufacturing equipment used to produce circuit card assemblies. Essential Functions Operate and monitor SMT and electronics manufacturing equipment used in the production of circuit card assemblies (CCAs). Maintain and operate complex electronics assembly machinery using established procedures, schematics, and approved documentation. Adjust machine settings and parameters to support production requirements and ensure quality output. Perform machine set-up and material loading for electronic components and circuit boards. Conduct routine preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting on SMT equipment. Perform off-line material setup and feeder preparation as required. Review work instructions and technical documentation to ensure accurate component placement and manufacturing processes. Support training of other operators on electronics manufacturing equipment. Participate in continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives. Qualifications / Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read and follow technical work instructions and manufacturing documentation. Ability to lift or move materials up to 20 lbs. Ability to work overtime as required. Ability to work in an electronics manufacturing environment. Desired Skills / Experience Experience operating SMT or electronics manufacturing equipment (pick-and-place, screen printers, reflow ovens, etc.). Experience working with printed circuit boards or circuit card assemblies. 3–5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing or similar production environments. Familiarity with component handling, feeder setup, and electronic production processes.
