Job Description Summary Engineering associated with the manufacturing process. Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team. Executes standard operational/technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete task/duties based on changing work situations. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Program CNC machines, automated processes, and robotics Deliver processes as part of a manufacturing engineering team Define and control production process including tooling and equipment Validate design specifications and shop floor application of new product, tools, or equipment Develop new solutions under guidance and / or in a team setting or based upon precedents in the organizations Work together with business leadership (business leaders, plant leaders, etc.) Specify needs, communicate about project approach, and present outcomes of research done Work directly with production employees and on cross functional teams Required Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree accredited  college or university (or a high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience in Manufacturing & Production Process and Equipment experience) Desired Characteristics Knowledge of automated milling/edge contour process (milling, vibratory, slurry, robots, etc.) Program experience with milled, turned, shaped, and ground features Must have knowledge of GE Aviation specs relating to edge contour criteria Robotic edge contour experience Previous experience as a process engineer producing rotating parts for jet engines Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn​ Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively​ Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed ​ Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative​ Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker GE Aerospace offers comprehensive benefits and programs to support your health and, along with programs like HealthAhead, your physical, emotional, financial and social wellbeing.
