GE Aerospace is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will play a critical part in assembling, testing, and preparing high-quality aerospace components that power the future of flight. What You'll Do: Collaborate in a team-oriented environment that embraces lean practices and 5S principles to continuously improve processes and products. Operate a variety of tools and equipment, including testers, power tools, coil winding machines, and hand tools, to assemble and test aerospace components. Perform essential production tasks such as marking, blasting, degreasing, cleaning, prepping, and testing piece parts, subassemblies, and units. Follow detailed work instructions, processes, and procedures to ensure precision and quality in every task. Read and interpret dimensional measurements and blueprints to meet exacting standards. Obtain and maintain department certifications, including soldering, brazing, and operator stamps, as required. What You'll Bring: A High School diploma or GED. Basic written and verbal communication skills, math skills, and computer proficiency. Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work with precision tools. A commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Preferred Qualifications: Previous manufacturing experience and familiarity with blueprints. High Reliability solder certification (9-4949) is a plus.
