The Advanced Technician Flowcell Machining is responsible for operating machinery to drill glass to specific shapes and sizes according to manufacturing work instructions. Responsibilities include setting up and adjusting cutting equipment (lathe, microscopes), monitoring the cutting process, inspecting the finished product for quality, performing routine maintenance, while adhering to safety guidelines. This position reports to the Director of Manufacturing and is part of the Hardware Manufacturing team located in Nicholasville, KY and will be an on-site role.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Setup, adjust, run, and maintain production equipment used in the manufacturing process Read and interpret blueprints and work orders for the different products Aid in problem solving through identification and resolution of issues, as well as supporting continuous improvement with machinery or production processes The essential requirements of the job include: Minimum Education: High School degree or Equivalent Minimum Years of Experience: 7+ years Proficiency in operating machinery for precision drilling, measuring, and inspecting product Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Ability to travel 75% to Miami, FL facility for on-going training and support in first year of employment. The hourly range for this role is $24.00/hour - $38.00/hour . This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
