Working together,   let’s   put our time and talents together to advance human health for tomorrow.     Learn about the   Danaher Business Syste m   which makes everything possible.     The   Flow Cytometry   Hybrid   Sales Associate   is responsible   for   developing and executing a territory business plan designed to meet or exceed   established   flow cytometry   sales   targets ;   hunting for   new sales   opportunities ;   call ing   on   c urrent   customers;   performing technical presentations and product demonstrations and engaging service and applications personnel   to resolve   customer   issues and problem s . Strategic sales targets include Academic, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Industrial, Hospitals ,   Reference   and   CRO   labs .     This position   reports to   the   Regional Sales Manager   and   is part of the   Beckman Coulter Life Science Commercial Organization working remotely   from   a   territory   inclusive of Northern   Illinois ,   Minnesota   and Wisconsin .          In this role, you will have the opportunity to:   Sell clinical and research hardware and   consumables   flow cytometry solutions to meet or exceed assigned targets.   Execute best in class   territory management skills   using an alytical processes   to deliver results.   Expand the business by   hunting   for   and winning new customers.      The essential requirements of the job include :     Bachelor’s degree in   a   Scientific field with   5 + years ’   experience   selling life science solutions   or   master’s   degree in a scientific field with   2 + years’   sales experience.   Practical   experience and knowledge of flow cytometry equipment .   Strong communication   and presentation skills .   Excellent time and territory management habits .   Reside in   Chicago or greater Chicago area and near a major airport.       Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:     Ability to travel   up to 70 %   overnight   within the territory and to attend essential   training .    Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record   Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to   50 lb .     It would be a plus if you also   possess   previous   experience in:   Application of   spectral flow cytometry .   CRM experience preferably SFDC and Microsoft Office programs.      Beckman Coulter Life Sciences ,   a Danaher operating company, offers a broad array of comprehensive, competitive benefit programs that add value to our lives. Explore the flexibility and   challenge   that working for   Beckman Coulter Life Sciences   can provide.     The salary rang e   for this role   is   $ 100,000   - $110,000.   This role is also eligible for Sales Incentive Compensation (SIC). The total target compensation at plan (base + SIC) is $180,000 – $195,000 annually. Actual SIC earnings may exceed or fall below the target based on individual sales performance. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
