Job Description Summary We are looking for the leader of Safety and Quality Management System for Prague Legal Entity inside Avio Aero. You will assure at the same time an effective Safety management System as well as embodying the function of Independent Monitoring System for Approved Production and Maintenance Organizations. Job location: Prague, Czech Republic Job Description Essential Responsibilities Accountable for building an operating system around development the standardization and improvement of the GEAC Prague Quality Management System, building on best Industry Standards (A9100), incorporating mandatory, voluntary and customer requirements Safety Leader for POA, MOA and MTOA, sharing and promoting across functions, a new framework around Safety Management building standard work for sustainable operating mechanism by the means of a reactive and proactive management approach. Developing a set of metrics KPI and SPI (Safety Performance Indicators) in compliance with internal and external requirements in line with Flight Deck Quality Leader for POA, MOA and MTOA, accountable for independent monitoring of approved organizations. Provide leadership for Hazard Identification, Safety Risk quantification and Mitigation process and build SMS Hazard identification and evaluation organization in Collaboration with all Avio functions and GE Aerospace SMS team Develop and execute an SMS promotion plan and spread Just Culture and Open reporting around Aviation Safety Collaborate with all function in driving interface safety risk management control, such as Customers and Suppliers Act as Safety manager and Quality manager for POA, MOA and MTOA (Nominated post holder)   Qualifications/Requirements Master’s degree in engineering Strong and significant experience in quality and extensive experience in the aerospace and defense sector Demonstrated experience working in a cross-functional environment and proven ability to influence and build consensus among multiple functions Knowledge of matters relating to Quality Systems and auditing methodologies Deep knowledge of Airworthiness rules and regulations acquired through specific training courses and applied experience. Knowledge of EASA Part 21G and Part 145 Regulatory framework Ability to establish an effective relationship both with Avio Aero and GE Aerospace colleagues Proven experience in leading multicultural teams Fluent Czech and English Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required Desired Characteristics Demonstrated ability to lead, acknowledge, develop, communicate & implement a strategy under crisis situations to ensure compliance Experience in a global, matrixed organization structure Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Management System tools, continuous improvement methodologies & in-depth understanding of Company products & related processes  Our bonuses above the salary include: Two weeks of paid time off above local law minimum (6 weeks of paid time off in total) Fresh vegetable and fruit in the workplace twice a week Contribution to Multisport card – so you can do sports every day almost anywhere in the Czech Republic Health Days - massages, medical specialists, trainings, yoga mornings, vitamin packages and other Private gym in the building (just for us) Annual Bonus up to 30% of your yearly salary Monthly contribution 6% from your base salary into your Cafeteria or Pension/Life Insurance Meal vouchers (100 CZK/per day) fully covered by employer Additional Information Relocation Assistance Provided: No
