Together, we’re working at the pace of change to improve patient lives with diagnostic tools that address the world’s biggest health challenges.  The Analyst II, Technical Project Management for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for supporting post launch design change projects for the AU product line.   This is a specific purpose contract, temporary position. The specific purpose of the role is to identify and qualify alternate suppliers for majority of raw materials used in the manufacture Clincal Chemistry Reagents at Beckman Coulter Ireland. This position is part of the AU Technical Operations Department located in Beckman Coulter Clare and will be an on-site position. You will be a part of the Supply Chain Projects team and report to the Senior Manager, Technical Operations, responsible for post launch design change projects and project management of NPI transfer for the AU product line. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: Laboratory testing (and project management as required) for qualification of new raw material/ suppliers for clinical chemistry use. Documentation of test results and Report generation. Support of other AU technical Operations teams as required including Supply Chain, Technical Services and Value Assignment. The essential requirements of the job include: Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent and/or experience in Clinical Chemistry or Immunology Reagent and a mimimum of 2 years relevant work experience Familiar with handling of chemicals, bio-hazardous materials, enzymes and laboratory equipment and analysers. Skills in handling computer software for calculation of data and record keeping. Quality assurance, GMP / FDA / ISO regulations.
