About Marvell Marvell’s semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities.  At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.  Your Team, Your Impact Marvell’s Central Engineering organization is seeking highly motivated and curious interns to join our Analog/Mixed-Signal IC and AI Systems R&D team. This internship is designed for students who are passionate about analog/mixed-signal design, intelligent systems, and the future of semiconductor innovation. This is more than a typical internship—it’s a launchpad. Interns will be embedded in a fast-paced, cross-disciplinary team that sits at the intersection of IC design, system integration, and AI tooling. You’ll gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from industry leaders, and contribute to real projects that drive Marvell’s product and R&D roadmap. What You Can Expect What You’ll Do Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Support the design and simulation of high speed & high precision building blocks such as ADCs, DACs, PLLs, clock generations, regulators, buffers, & bandgaps. Learn industry-standard tools (e.g., Spectre, Virtuoso, MATLAB, python, SKILL, C++) and assist in analyzing performance trade-offs. Help correlate simulation results with silicon data in lab environments. System Integration & Automation Participate in cross-functional work that brings together hardware, software, and algorithm layers. Assist with system-level test setups, data analysis, and verification tasks. Team Collaboration & Technical Growth Join a collaborative team environment that encourages asking questions, sharing ideas, and thinking beyond your current domain. Work alongside experienced engineers and researchers to learn best practices and deepen your technical foundation. Why This Internship Matters This internship will give you: Real project experience in one of the world’s leading chip design environments Exposure to Marvell’s core technologies, toolchains, and product workflows The opportunity to explore both depth and breadth—whether you love transistor-level design or aspire to innovate at the system/AI level A mentorship path that could evolve into a full-time role or thesis opportunity Your Path Forward Many of our interns go on to become key contributors and technical leaders within Marvell. If you’re dreaming of a career that spans deep analog design, AI-driven innovation, and system-level impact—this is where you start. What We're Looking For Minimum Qualifications: •            Enrolled in Bachelor (3rd/4th year) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Early-stage Master and PhD students are also welcomed. •            Strong fundamentals in analog/mixed-signal IC design and signal processing, control theory, or convex optimization •            Experience with circuit design tools (Cadence, Spectre, etc.) is a plus •            Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and a growth mindset. Preferred (but not required): •            Prior internship or research experience in IC design •            Exposure to lab testing and silicon correlation •            Familiarity with scripting (Python, MATLAB) or data visualization tools Additional Compensation and Benefit Elements With competitive compensation and great benefits, you will enjoy our workstyle within an environment of shared collaboration, transparency, and inclusivity. We’re dedicated to giving our people the tools and resources they need to succeed in doing work that matters, and to grow and develop with us.
