Passion for writing code that is clear, robust, unit tested & peer-reviewed. Improve operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures. Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions. Ability to work under pressure, adapt to demanding situations, and consistently meet project deadlines. What you bring: Design, develop and maintain high quality, scalable software/solutions. Work in Agile environment and contribute to all agile ceremonies. Understand business needs, translate into technical solutions & estimate. Drive design discussions, build prototypes, and contribute to delivering high-quality products/features. Develop and maintain unit tests/automation. Demonstrate skills in using coding standards and being an active participant in code reviews. Foster continuous improvement of culture within teams to achieve customer satisfaction. Generate new innovative ideas and implement solutions. Passion for finding bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code using automation tools. Demonstrates leadership ability for complex requirements to back decisions with research, articulate several options with the pros and cons for each, and a recommendation. Troubleshoot & resolve complex, performance, security issues. Work with customer technical team to resolve customer issues. Conduct training, provide guidance and mentorship to other team members. Conducting Interviews and on-board new members Foster teamwork and collaboration across geographies and teams. Understand deployment of cloud-based systems. Good to have Skills: UI Tier - Spring MVC, Angular 12, jQuery Business Tier - Proficient in REST API fundamentals and best practices, REST API modeling skills, Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE concepts & Design Patterns. Microservices - Knowledge of Microservices, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes Hibernate. Database knowledge - RDBMS, SQL, PL/SQL, experience working on Oracle/DB2/Postgres and NoSQL database like MongoDb. Integration Tier – Web-services concept -SOAP/REST, Basic knowledge of XML/XSD/XSLT and JSON. Knowledge of SAML/SSO is mandatory. Knowledge of Web Server/App Server like WAS or Tomcat or JBoss or Apache http Server Experience in Queue Messaging tools like WebSphere MQ, Rabbit MQ, Kafka Experience using Tools – JIRA, SonarQube, SVN, GIT, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, Checkmarx, Yourkit Profiler, IBM Heap Analyzer, ADA tools (Level Access). Knowledge of any scripting language: Python/Ruby/Groovy/Shell/Perl Knowledge about code security: static & dynamic scans. Penetration testing tool is a plus. Experience in Unit Test and Automated functional / non-functional test. Excellent troubleshooting skills to root cause complex issues required. Should be able to troubleshoot performance, heap dumps, security issues. Understanding of JVM concepts like Garbage Collection, Heap, Stack, Profiling, parameters for fine tuning, Class Loading, etc. Broad understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies. Working experience in Agile development, and Test-Driven Development. Preferred knowledge of Reporting tool – Jasper/Open Birt/Actuate /Crystal Reports  Preferred Experience in Cloud concepts and technologies, container build and orchestration, infrastructure-as-code, horizontal scaling Working knowledge of delivering into cloud-based environments using standard CI/CD tools and best practices Preferred Experience working with Cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/Google Cloud. AWS certification is a plus. Preferred Knowledge of Banking or Financial Domain. Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and ability to lead others. Possesses strong communication skills (verbal and written) with good listening capabilities. Willingness and ability to learn and take on challenging opportunities. Strong Team Player, interpersonal & presentation skills. Qualifications Bachelor (BE/BTech) or master’s degree in computer science or related field. 6+ years of hands-on experience of Java software design & development Competencies Fluent in English. Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and commercial solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion. Attention to detail – track record of authoring high-quality documentation. Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements. Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team.
