About Role: Candidate will be responsible for managing the Platform services and Data Teams. The role will work extensively with stakeholders in the Client Office to drive Platform Delivery Automation and overall acceleration of the Platform availability to deliver faster value to our clients What you bring: 15+ years of experience •Knowledge and Experience in the Banking/Payments, Capital Markets domain •Knowledge and experience in driving Automation, SRE and DevOps practices in application space. •In-depth knowledge of principles, theories, practices and techniques for making activities related to planning, managing and implementing software projects and programs • Broad subject matter knowledge of user group for practical application of system characteristics • Broad knowledge of architecture of enterprise level information technology hardware, e.g., WAN, LAN and computer systems and peripherals and software platforms • Broad knowledge of practices, guidelines and procedures for planning, implementing and monitoring enterprise level information technology hardware and operating system infrastructures • Broad knowledge of information technology functions including information systems design and development, systems planning, programming, operations, architecture, data processing, data security, networks, systems support and analysis • Broad knowledge of basic IT technologies, i.e., operating systems, network devices, software development and architecture • Broad knowledge of emerging technology issues and trends • Knowledge of FIS products and services • Excellent customer service skills that build high levels of customer satisfaction for internal and external clients • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors • Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources • Excellent decision-making, problem-solving, organization, prioritization, team-building and conflict and time management skills • Is resourceful and proactive in gathering information and sharing ideas • Strategic thinker with demonstrated sound business judgment, understanding of business purpose of each project and decision making within that context • Proven project management skills of multiple large and/or complex projects, i.e., projects involving many activities and deliverables or that have a major impact risk/value to the organization Expertise in leveraging Generative AI and Cloud/Platform automation to drive digital transformation across enterprise functions. Experience in implementing Gen AI-powered automation, LLM-based scenario generation, and agentic workflows, resulting in significant efficiency gains and accelerated delivery would be nice to have Skilled in integrating AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform) to streamline operations, foster innovation, and support strategic business objectives. Experience in cloud automation, including infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, RPA, and deployment automation using leading tools (Ansible, Terraform, REST APIs). Adept at leading platform modernization and hybrid cloud initiatives, delivering measurable business value and operational excellence. Committed to continuous upskilling and responsible AI adoption, ensuring organizational readiness for future-forward digital initiatives. What you will be doing: • Leading Platform Delivery automation for multiple Solutions across Banking, Payments and Capital Markets Group • Leads or sponsors technology projects, researches and applies best practices to processes and procedures as appropriate and evaluates how new technologies, products and techniques can meet future technology needs. • Consults with management to analyze information technology needs and determine scope, objectives, and priorities of technical projects, technical systems capacity, budgeting requirements and IT acquisitions. • Drives translation of product strategy and business owner expectations into long-range systems projects/plans with priority recommendations. • Makes development recommendations to business owners based on experience with client expectations and issues. Notifies business owners of potential technical or operational constraints including performance implications. • Develops financial estimates for operating and/or capital expenses expected from meeting team deliverable including financial forecasting, purchasing decisions and staffing related costs for new or existing products or company initiatives. • Assigns and monitors work of project team providing technical and analytical support and direction. Interfaces with external clients or field-based employees on technical matters as needed. May manage small projects or sub-projects. • Develops, implements and monitors information technology standards, practices, procedures and controls to maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility and ensure data integrity, security and legal and regulatory compliance. • Coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures IT service is uninterrupted. • Directs and provides day-to-day expertise, coaching and leadership to management/supervisory team and staff for areas including information systems design and development, systems planning, programming, operations, architecture, data processing, data security, networks, systems support and/or analysis. Provides leadership for area of responsibility including planning, coaching, recruiting, selection, performance development and mentoring. • Researches and evaluates new technologies, products and techniques that could meet future technology needs. • Participates in disaster recovery/business continuity activities as needed. • May negotiate and/or contract with consultants, technical personnel and vendors for services and products. • May define and/or negotiate service level agreements for technology operations. • Other related duties assigned as needed.
