We are currently looking for a Lead Engineer - Professional Services to support the team in our Amsterdam office. About the role: As an Engineer you could work with bleeding edge technology as you build innovative fintech products that change the way the world pays, banks and invests. This will involve developing core versions of software applications, identifying client requirements and technical specifications, interacting with engineering groups and training clients on applications. About the team: Highly motivated and multi-skilled proficient engineers, who have a deep understanding of the product and the technical landscape of the client. Always on the hunt for perfection in software engineering, making use of the latest technologies and improved ways of working. Collaborative, supportive but also demanding. The team is accountable for the work developed and takes ownership of solutions to be implemented. What you will be doing: Designing, programming, debugging and modifying software enhancements. Interacting with product managers and users to define requirements and modifications. Participating in software design meetings to determine technical requirements. Working with internal Client Training, Client Relationship and Sales teams. What you will need: Experience with end-to-end systems development life cycles and standards. Knowledge of financial industry practices, regulations and operations. Fluency in sequence diagrams, class models, etc. Proficiency in solutions design and requirements definition disciplines. A bachelor’s in computer engineering, computer science or other related discipline or equivalent experience. Very familiar with Agile way of working and all ceremonies, including User Story Mapping and refinement, story point estimation and dealing with technical debt. Proficient in Profile Core Banking System Proficient in Mumps and PSL languages, along with debugging and troubleshooting defects Proficient in GT.M compiler and database Added bonus if you have: Able to define and write RobotFramework Test cases Banking/Payments/Financial knowledge Worked for a Financial institution for at least 5 years.
