Impiegato per operazioni multidominio in ambito difesa, il sistema sarà caratterizzato da una “core platform” connessa con altri sistemi periferici “adjuncts”, pilotati e non pilotati. Il programma, tra i più sfidanti e avveniristici per l’industria dell’aerospazio e della difesa, guiderà la rivoluzione tecnologica che caratterizzerà il settore nei prossimi cinquant’anni. Nell’ambito della Joint Venture costituita per la realizzazione del Programma GCAP, ricerchiamo la figura di Exercise Lead Specialist per il Quartier Generale GCAP sito a Reading (UK).  OBIETTIVO DELL’INCARICO: L’Exercise Lead Specialist supporta la pianificazione, l’esecuzione e il miglioramento continuo delle attività di valutazione di sicurezza avverse all’interno dell’organizzazione. Il ruolo affianca l’Exercise Manager nella progettazione di scenari realistici di emulazione delle minacce e garantisce che le operazioni di red team producano evidenze e insight significativi, in grado di rafforzare la postura difensiva dell’azienda. Il candidato ideale combina competenze tecniche, visione strategica, rigore operativo e solide capacità comunicative. RESPONSABILITA’: La risorsa farà parte della funzione di Operations per la JV e a diretto riporto dell’Exercise Manager. COMPITI: Pianificazione ed Esecuzione delle Esercitazioni Supportare le operazioni di red team end-to-end, incluse attività di ricognizione, threat modelling, progettazione degli scenari e analisi post-esercitazione. Collaborare con blue team, purple team e stakeholder rilevanti (ad es. Thames Valley Police) per garantire un’esecuzione sicura, controllata ed efficace. Supportare la sicurezza operativa, la gestione del rischio e i processi di deconfliction durante le esercitazioni. Reporting e Comunicazione Redigere report chiari e operativi, traducendo i risultati tecnici in insight rilevanti per il business. Presentare i risultati al senior management, includendo valutazioni del rischio e strategie di remediation raccomandate, compreso il rafforzamento della sicurezza dei sistemi ove opportuno. Collaborare con i team difensivi per validare eventuali lacune nei meccanismi di rilevazione e supportare i cicli di miglioramento del purple team. Governance e Compliance Garantire che tutte le attività di red team siano conformi alle linee guida legali, etiche e organizzative. Mantenere documentazione, autorizzazioni e tracciabilità (audit trail) per tutte le esercitazioni. Contribuire, quando necessario, alla preparazione alla risposta agli incidenti e alle esercitazioni tabletop. Indicatori di Successo Esercitazioni di red team in grado di mettere realmente alla prova l’organizzazione e di individuare vulnerabilità concrete e realistiche. Solide collaborazioni con i team difensivi che si traducano in miglioramenti misurabili nelle capacità di rilevazione e risposta. REQUISITI: Titolo di Studio in linea con le attività previste dal ruolo Certificazioni quali Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC) Red Teaming (GRT) o equivalenti. Esperienza in threat intelligence, incident response o attività di purple teaming. Familiarità con controlli di sicurezza enterprise, sistemi SIEM, strumenti EDR e detection engineering. Esperienza in settori regolamentati o in ambienti enterprise di grandi dimensioni. JOB TITLE: Within the GCAP Joint Venture Security, we are looking for a Exercise Lead Specialist for GCAP HQ in Reading (UK). JOB PURPOSE: The Exercise Lead Specialist supports the planning, execution and continuous improvement of adversarial security assessments across the organization. This role helps the Exercise Manager to design realistic threat emulation scenarios and ensures red team operations deliver meaningful insights that strengthen the company’s defensive posture. The ideal candidate blends technical expertise with strategic thinking, operational discipline, and strong communication skills. RESPONSIBILITIES: The role will be part of the Operations function for the JV and will report directly to the Exercise Manager. OBJECTIVES: Exercise Planning & Execution Support end to end red team operations, including reconnaissance, threat modelling, scenario design and post exercise analysis. Work with blue teams, purple teams, and relevant stakeholders (e.g. Thames Valley Police) to ensure safe, controlled and effective execution. Support operational security, risk management and deconfliction processes during exercises. Reporting & Communication Deliver clear, actionable reports that translate technical findings into business relevant insights. Present results to senior leadership, including risk assessments and recommended remediation strategies including system security hardening where appropriate. Collaborate with defensive teams to validate detection gaps and support purple team improvement cycles.
