Job Description: Job Description The Actuarial Specialist for Model Excellence is responsible for supporting the IFRS17 model maintenance process and reviews of actuarial models and product pricing, as well as supporting initiatives related to models. Responsibilities IFRS17 Model Maintenance Prepare model specifications for model changes such as assumption updates, new product setup, and other enhancements to the IFRS17 valuation models Liaise with the Shared Actuarial Operations (SAO) team regarding any IFRS17 model-related concerns Checks control documentations if they align with the test plan for intended model changes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support implementation of new requirements and model updates Actuarial Model Reviews Conduct reviews and validations of models and calculators owned by Actuarial in accordance with guidelines on Model and Calculator Risk Policy Prepare reports and recommendations based on review findings Pricing Support Peer review product initiatives under the simplified track (File and Use) by validating pricing models and analyzing profitability results. Strategic Support on Models Provide support in identifying opportunities for automating manual processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors Support other areas in Valuation in terms of modelling Qualifications University degree with a strong mathematical or statistical background With at least 3 SOA exams and 3 VEE passed At least 4 years of Actuarial-related experience Strong knowledge and experience in handling Actuarial modeling software, preferably AXIS Strong proficiency in MS Office applications Job Category: Actuarial Posting End Date: 29/04/2026
