Job Description: This Systems Engineering vacancy presents an exciting opportunity to be part of the Captor Radar Mark 2 Systems Test Solution (STS) team. The role is that of Principal LRI ( Line Replaceable Installation ) Integration Engineer, where you will be an integral part of the Engineering team that is designing, integrating, testing and delivery of the latest cutting-edge Captor Radar Test Equipment, hosted both in the Edinburgh Rooflab environment and offsite Customer facilities. The types of activities to be performed include:  Carry out complex integration and test activities of Radar Processor Environment Simulator (RPES) Test Equipment with the Radar Processor LRI prior to delivery to BAE Systems. Heavy involvement in the installation and commissioning of Test Equipment offsite at BAE premises. Regular reporting to the STS PEL, providing technical updates on a regular basis. What you’ll bring Degree qualified or relevant work experience in given field. Solid integration background and willingness to follow problems through under their own initiative. Experience and understanding of STANAG 3910, Ethernet & RF principles. Ability to learn complex designs while working with multiple stakeholders such as Software, Firmware, Hardware and Systems Engineers. Ability to summarise and report issues concisely along with proposed solutions. Ability to work with and influence others in a dynamic and fast paced environment. An excellent and confident communicator and presenter, with the ability to engage with and influence multiple internal and external stakeholders. Ability to effectively manage own time, potentially across multiple activities. Excellent literacy and numeracy skills. Travel within the UK & Europe, if required.
