Throughout the industry there is mounting pressure on organizations to do more, requiring a clear technology strategy that not only addresses the demands of today, but also enables the growth and performance of tomorrow.  You will be part of the Professional Services division, supporting multiple client onboardings and implementations for our back‑office product. What you will be doing: Interact with business analysts on the onshore and offshore teams and determine programming designs and strategies. Working on client implementations and conversions by writing COBOL routines. Working on deployment and releasing of changes in UAT and production environments. Research issues reported by customers and provide the solution within the expected timeframe. Researches and resolves user problems as well as issues and problems with software systems, production processing and production environments. Coordinates testing of applications, systems, processes and procedures, hardware and/or software changes. Trains internal customers (employees) on changes, new systems or new procedures. May identify new tools, technology or processes that improve the overall processing environment or processing efficiency. Assists in the definition of external and internal customer problems and needs. Discusses expectations with customers. May explain solutions directly to customers where appropriate. What you bring: 10 to 15 Years of experience in Tandem Cobol Programming Good Experience in SQL and inscribe file. Knowledge of client objectives and business priorities and FIS role in achieving those objectives and priorities Knowledge of costs/benefit implications of products and services Ability to understand real need behind client stated needs, to anticipate client future needs, to discern business opportunities in client needs and work effectively with multiple client contacts Skill in solving client business problems Proactively take steps to better client relationships Ability to show concern for needs, feelings and issues of clients, to communicate that client’s business is valued, to meet client perception of high quality/best value services and products and to ensure commitments are accomplished according to client specifications Ability to respond to client questions or needs even if outside area of responsibility Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients and public Good to have : Knowledge of Securities Processing domain. Worked on Webservices using .NET or display readiness to work in these areas. Knowledge or process automation/ automation tools used.
