Job Details: Starting Pay $17.30/hr plus a $2.00 shift premium Shift B hours are Sunday thru Tuesday 7 pm to 7 am and Wednesday 7 pm to 1 am Thursday This position is responsible for setting up and operating the mechanical dumper while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants will be considered for any general production opening.  These openings require standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, shoveling, climbing stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, bending, stretching, reaching,  working in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors.  Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions.  Maintain clean work area by use of soap and high pressure hose.  Must be able to read and complete required logs.  Must be able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers via two-way radio.  May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.  May be required to operate frontend loader or forklift and will be required to obtain certification to do so.  If an applicant meets the minimum requirements for consideration, they may be contacted for an interview. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. Must have 6 months of continuous employment with 1 employer within the past 12 months. Prefer 3 consecutive months Operator experience within the last 2 years. Must be documented on application or resume. Rehire criteria is a minimum waiting period of 180 days. Rehire Rule of no more than  3 times worked at Tyson Foods. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions; risk of electrical shock; and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud .
