Job Details: Job Description:  This role focuses on developing, maintaining, and optimizing reusable components that enable seamless integration across our client technology ecosystem. The candidate will bridge the gap between system firmware implementation and business requirements while ensuring scalability, reliability, and developer experience excellence.Partners with Intel customers, ecosystem hardware and software vendors, and/or the opensource community to establish component architecture standards and best practices across the ecosystem. Engages as a technical expert or trusted technical advisor to drive Intel value and differentiation in or across disciplines such as Client, HPC, AI, Gaming, Graphics, and/or Edge. Utilizes deep firmware and market segment expertise to research, develop, and prototype firmware that leverages and drives broader adoption of Intel product capabilities. Evangelizes firmware tools and technologies to the ecosystem to enable and support Intel products. Responsible for leading new component pre-enabling, product development, and/or product hardening to launch future products and provide customer support. May deliver collateral and training, including competitive/differentiated benchmarks, as well as may identify drive key workloads into product requirements and landing zones for future product design, simulation, projection methods, and tools. Drives product improvements that minimize the need for explicit enabling and maximizes scale adoption. Qualifications: You must possess a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or equivalent with 6 to 8 years of industry experience in system firmware, software debug or low level software engineering, An advanced degree is preferred Additional qualifications include: Excellent problem solving skills comfortable with the use of software tools to diagnose and debug BIOS firmware and software issues, Excellent knowledge of UEFI BIOS operations and interdependencies is a big plus, Knowledge of C C Python and or other programming or scripting languages, Excellent communication including spoken and written English and customer support skills. Strong interpersonal skills with proven track record of cross group collaboration, Deep knowledge of PC architecture hardware software firmware and Windows OS Knowledge of motherboard and/or system manufacturing test process, Presentation skills and the ability understand specify and communicate requirements to marketing and engineering teams, Ability to work in a highly ambiguous environment and to achieve high quality results, Ability to international and domestic travel and Travel to customer facilities, Experience with embedded controller or BMC firmware solutions would be an added advantage.            Job Type: Experienced Hire Shift: Shift 1 (China) Primary Location:  PRC, Shanghai Additional Locations: Business group: The Software Team drives customer value by enabling differentiated experiences through leadership AI technologies and foundational software stacks, products, and services. The group is responsible for developing the holistic strategy for client and data center software in collaboration with OSVs, ISVs, developers, partners and OEMs. The group delivers specialized NPU IP to enable the AI PC and GPU IP to support all of Intel's market segments. The group also has HW and SW engineering experts responsible for delivering IP, SOCs, runtimes, and platforms to support the CPU and GPU/accelerator roadmap, inclusive of integrated and discrete graphics.
