Job Details: Job Description:  This position is within the Design Technology Platform (DTP) organization of Intel Foundry. We are looking for a talented individual to join the TestChip Design team to evaluate Intel's advanced process nodes using both in-house and external digital IPs. Performs physical design implementation of custom IP and SoC designs from RTL to GDS to create a design database that is ready for manufacturing. Conducts all aspects of the physical design flow including synthesis, place and route, clock tree synthesis, floor planning, static timing analysis, power/clock distribution, reliability, and power and noise analysis. Conducts verification and signoff including formal equivalence verification, static timing analysis, reliability verification, static and dynamic power integrity, layout verification, electrical rule checking, and structural design checking. Possesses expertise in various aspects of structural and physical design, including physical clock design, timing closure, coverage analysis, multiple power domain analysis, placing, routing, synthesis, and DFT using industry-standard EDA tools. Optimizes design to improve product-level parameters such as power, frequency, and area. Qualifications: To apply for this role, you need to meet the following requirements: Minimum Qualifications: You should have a Bachelor/Master/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or other related Electrical Scientific STEM fields. Knowledgeable in TCL, Perl, or Python programming languages. Preferred Qualifications: Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and often intense project schedule. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a good team as well as the ability to work independently. Possesses a creative mind and self-motivation. Analytical problem solving and multitasking.
