At Zentiva, we are looking for a Senior Controller who will play a key role in steering financial and operational performance of our PRG Site. You will lead planning and reporting processes, deliver forward-looking forecasts, analyze cost drivers (PPV, yield, productivity), and partner with leadership to implement clear action plans. This is more than reporting - it’s about transforming data into decisions, supporting strategic investments, strengthening internal controls, and driving continuous improvement through smart digital dashboards. Your responsibilities: Work with Head of Finance PRG Site, FP&A, Direct & Indirect Procurement, and Leadership team of the Site to implement short and long term financial and strategic plan Responsible for the planning and reporting processes, including monthly financial closes, forecast, budget and strategic planning processes Prepare/validate business cases for strategic decisions Analyse financial and operational results to understand business performance and suggest improvement actions Develop and maintain an accurate activity based costing system Purchase price variances, yield, substitution, productivity analysis Forward looking forecasts and identification of issues that can cause underperformance Develop in collaboration with key business partners a clear action plans to achieve expected performance and/or take advantage of business opportunities Collaborate with Group accounting on statutory accounts and tax declarations Support internal controls and lead external financial audit assignments Reporting, performance management: build up and make use of digital dashboard to detect abnormalities and drive improvement of key indicators Prepare standard Zentiva monthly reports and commentary Prepare annual budget, quarterly estimates and Long Range Plans Standards computation We require: University Degree in Economics or Finance Min 5 years of experience in financial controlling Production controlling experience is an advantage Strong business acumen, able to be exposed to Site head, Head of industrial, Head of controlling, CFO, be strong and defend his/her opinion Capacity to influence and manage matrix stakeholders Strong presentation and communication skills Ability to solve complex problems, timely and precisely Ability to work and collaborate in complex organizations Strong skills in SAP, planning and reporting tools, MS Excel advanced user Excellent English level - use on daily basis, fluent Czech What is in it for you An opportunity to work for a successful international pharmaceutical company.
