You are Absa. You are possibility. Job Summary Join Absa Technology in Prague as a Data Solutions Engineer, where you will design and implement cutting-edge, serverless data solutions on AWS. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer passionate about building scalable data platforms, leveraging modern cloud technologies, and exploring innovative approaches such as LLM-based solutions. Job Description Key Responsibilities: Develop and optimize data solutions using Python and Spark/PySpark. Design and build serverless architectures leveraging AWS services (Lambda, S3, ECS, Glue, Lake Formation, Step Functions, EventBridge, etc.). Manage infrastructure-as-code, preferably with Terraform. Implement and maintain data catalogs and open table formats (Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, or Apache Hudi). Explore and integrate LLM-based solutions where applicable. Requirements: Strong Python programming skills and Spark/PySpark experience. Proven experience in AWS serverless solution design and implementation. Hands-on expertise with AWS services (Lambda, S3, ECS, Glue, Lake Formation, Step Functions, EventBridge, etc.). Experience managing infrastructure-as-code (Terraform preferred). Knowledge of data catalog concepts and open table formats (Delta Lake, Apache Iceberg, Apache Hudi). Exposure to LLM-based solutions is a big plus.
