We are seeking a Lead   Prod Dev   Applied   Gen   AI to accelerate enterprise-scale Generative AI adoption within Clarivate’s Life Sciences & Healthcare (LSH) division. With Clarivate’s platforms trusted by leading global pharma, biotech, and healthcare organizations, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the next generation of GenAI-powered SaaS applications that empower researchers, scientists, and healthcare professionals worldwide.   In this role, you will lead applied GenAI initiatives from POC to MVP to   scaled   adoption, enabling product teams to embed AI meaningfully into real-world, data- and workflow-intensive use cases. You will   operate   at the intersection of GenAI , applied   AI, data, and product enablement, guiding teams to unlock intelligence from structured and unstructured data and deliver measurable business outcomes.   You will play a critical role in building the next generation of AI-powered analytics, insights, and decision-support platforms for Clarivate’s global Life Sciences & Healthcare (LSH) customer base. The capabilities you help enable will support mission-critical workflows across the research, development, and commercialization lifecycle, including drug discovery acceleration, treatment effectiveness analysis, real-world evidence generation, and patient journey insights.   As a senior individual-contributor leader, you will help shape GenAI strategy, enable high-performing cross-functional teams, and influence the data and AI foundations   required   to infuse GenAI and advanced analytics across the LSH portfolio.   If   you’re   excited to work at the intersection of AI, data, analytics, and product innovation—and to help accelerate scientific discovery and improve patient   outcomes— Clarivate is the place for you     About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments    7 +   years   of experience across AI, data, analytics, and intelligent application delivery, ideally in enterprise SaaS environments.   5+   years   building and enabling AI-driven applications, including recent experience with GenAI / LLM-based systems.   Proven ability to take GenAI initiatives from POC → MVP → scaled adoption.   Experience modernizing legacy workflows using AI-driven approaches.   Strong Experience in the   Healthcare Domain     GenAI, Data & Product Fluency   Strong understanding of LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and GenAI application patterns.   Familiarity with agentic AI concepts and intelligent workflow orchestration.   Comfortable working at the intersection of GenAI, data, and product, without being a pure engineer or a traditional PM.   Ability to guide architecture and execution decisions through influence, collaboration, and credibility.     Product & Leadership Skills   Strong product and business mindset with a focus on real-world outcomes.   Excellent communication and storytelling skills for technical, business, and executive audiences.   Proven ability to   operate   as a senior IC / player-coach in complex, cross-functional environments .     It would be great if you also have:    Experience applying GenAI to workflow intelligence, decision systems, or enterprise analytics.   Experience with Life Sciences or Healthcare datasets, regulatory models, or analytics workflows.   Experience working in regulated or high-trust environments .     What will you be doing in this role?   GenAI Strategy & Application Leadership   Lead end-to-end GenAI application initiatives, from opportunity discovery and POC design through MVP validation and scaled adoption.   Identify   and prioritize high-impact GenAI use cases aligned to LSH customer workflows and business outcomes.   Define success metrics for GenAI initiatives, balancing usability, trust, adoption, and measurable impact.   Contribute to Clarivate’s GenAI strategy and roadmap through hands-on leadership and execution.     Applied GenAI & Intelligent Workflows   Apply LLMs, RAG, embeddings, semantic search, and agentic reasoning patterns to real-world workflows, including:   Drug discovery and research intelligence   Treatment effectiveness and outcomes analysis   Real-world evidence (RWE) generation   Patient journey, market, and access insights   Translate unstructured and semi-structured data into actionable, GenAI-powered insights aligned to user and business needs.   Introduce emerging GenAI and agentic patterns in a practical, adoption-focused manner.     AI-Ready Data & Context Enablement   Shape requirements for AI-ready datasets and context foundations, including data quality, governance, and provenance.   Partner with Data and Platform teams to ensure GenAI solutions are built on trusted, compliant, and reusable data assets.   Influence standards for contextual retrieval, data enrichment, and responsible data usage without owning low-level infrastructure.     Product Enablement (AI-First)   Collaborate closely with Product Managers to shape GenAI-driven features aligned to customer   valu   and SaaS adoption models.   Help product teams move from ideas to working GenAI MVPs quickly, with strong feedback loops and iteration cycles.   Balance innovation with delivery, ensuring GenAI features are explainable, reliable, and   outcome-driven .     Cross-Functional Leadership & Enablement   Act as a GenAI thought partner for Product, AI, Data, Platform, Security, and Legal teams.   Mentor and enable teams on GenAI application patterns, demos, and stakeholder storytelling.   Influence prioritization, delivery practices, and execution as a senior IC / player-coach, without heavy people-management responsibility.     Operational Excellence & Responsible AI   Ensure GenAI initiatives deliver measurable business outcomes, such as efficiency gains, decision velocity, churn reduction, or revenue uplift.   Support production readiness by   aligning on   validation, monitoring, observability, and responsible AI considerations.   Continuously refine GenAI solutions based on user feedback, performance data, and business signals .     About the Team     You will be part of Clarivate’s Life Sciences & Healthcare (LSH) Commercial Technology organization, working at the intersection of GenAI, applied AI, data, and product enablement. The team focuses on translating advanced AI capabilities into enterprise-ready SaaS applications that support data- and workflow-intensive products used by global pharma, biotech, and healthcare customers.
