International Marine Service Engineer   Alfa Laval Nijmegen B.V. is a market leader in gas treatment systems and services. About the job You are responsible to perform maintenance and commissioning services on board of ships. Follow safety procedures and report unsafe practices & incidents. Show deep product knowledge of the key product line(s). Prepare the service job for efficient execution, based on the SOP of the job. Travel to service jobs on board vessels, including international travel. Sail with the vessel if needed. Execute maintenance, repair, advanced troubleshooting, commissioning or other services. Document work and conclusions while on board and get service report signed by the customer. Identify potential improvements incl. sales leads, give advice to customer and pass information on to own organization. Give input on SOP improvements. Provide formal training to peers and customers; assist in developing of training material and content. Who you are Customer centricity is in your DNA. You go the extra mile to offer the best possible service to our customers. Further, you have: Technical MBO+ or Bachelor degree with mechanical/electrical knowledge. Basic knowledge of PLC techniques, process-, measuring- and control technology; Good knowledge of written and spoken English.
