The  Strategic  Portfolio Manager leads the release management lifecycle for  Candescent’s  SaaS products and mobile applications, ensuring  high-quality ,  timely , and reliable software releases. This role coordinates  quality,  timely , and reliable software releases. This role coordinates cross  planning, scheduling, documentation, and communication to support continuous delivery and minimize disruption to end users.  You’ll  work on  functional planning, scheduling, documentation, and communication to support continuous delivery and minimize disruption to end users.  You’ll  partner closely with product, engineering, operations, and DevOps teams to manage risks, streamline processes, and accelerate value delivery across multiple products.     Key Responsibilities   Develop and communicate a clear, consistent release strategy for SaaS and mobile application products.   Lead release planning and scheduling across multiple product teams.   Partner with product managers and key stakeholders to align scope, goals, and  objectives  for each release.   Ensure products meet the Release Definition of Done ( RDoD ) prior to deployment.   Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance delivery speed, release quality, and product availability.   Coordinate SaaS releases across development, staging/test   and   learn , and production environments.   Serve as the quality gatekeeper for production deployments, ensuring adherence to operational standards.   Leverage automation tools and CI/CD best practices to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.   Partner with DevOps teams to manage,  monitor , and  optimize  deployment environments.   Encourage innovation and creative  problem-solving  through  the use  of automation and  AI - solving through  use  of automation and  AI   driven  tools.   Support the adoption of modern release practices such as progressive delivery and enhanced observability.   Oversee mobile app submission processes for iOS (App Store Connect) and Android (Google Play Console).     Required Qualifications   Experience collaborating across functions and building strong partnerships with diverse stakeholders.   Background working in  fast  paced  SaaS environments.   Hands - on experience with lean   agile portfolio management tools (e.g., Jira Align), including enterprise Kanban.   Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and innovative solutions in a demand management context.   Strong understanding of the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC),  ideally   in  regulated industries.   Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.   Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks, value, and strategic alignment.   E xperience  facilitating  prioritization and estimation for  large-scale  initiatives .     Preferred Qualifications   Strong leadership and communication abilities with experience influencing at multiple levels.   Advanced analytical and  problem- solving  skills with a proactive approach to risk management.   Strong organization and prioritization skills in a  fast-paced  environment.   Experience coaching or mentoring others in release management practices.   Familiarity with  cloud  native  environments (AWS, GCP) and DevOps workflows.   Statement to Third Party Agencies To ALL recruitment agencies: Candescent only accepts resumes from agencies on the preferred supplier list.
