Execute month end close, quarter & year end close activities in accordance with work instructions and month end closing checklist. Assist in trouble shooting, decision making, identification and communication of potential issue. Establish and maintain strong working relationship with Local Services, cross team and Center of Excellence Ensure all work instructions, standard operating procedures and local specific variances are updated and reviewed. Participate in continuous improvement in process efficiency and effectiveness. Support Local Services in terms of internal and external audit Conduct month end activities and to ensure the activities are performed within the set timeline and ensure the Internal Control System (ICS) documentation is in place. Monitor and ensure the queries are attended and revert in a timely, responsible and proactive manner Support standardization across regions and globally by focusing on alignment of end to end business process areas, system and tools Undertake in any adhoc assignment, projects and migrations that may be assigned from time to time. Undertake any other assignments/ projects that may be assigned from time to time. REQUIREMENTS Holds a bachelor’s degree or Professional Qualification in Accounting or Finance. At least 2-3 years of relevant working experience. Familiarity with Fixed Asset process and IFRS16 is an added advantage. Computer literate and have experience working in SAP or other major ERP system’s work environment would be an added advantage . A team player, meticulous, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines. Exposure to shared services environment would be preferred Candidates assigned to support the APAC regions.
