Op onze locatie in Farmsum , zijn wij op zoek naar een Manager Technical Services die bijdraagt aan de chemie in het team! De organisatie Evonik Peroxide Netherlands b.v. (EPN) is gevestigd bij het Chemiepark Delfzijl, alwaar het haar eigen fabriek heeft voor de productie van waterstof. Het geproduceerde waterstof wordt gebruikt voor de productie van het eindproduct waterstofperoxide. De geproduceerde waterstofperoxide wordt voornamelijk toegepast als bleekmiddel voor textiel- en papierpulpvezels, als grondstof voor andere specifieke chemische processen en als oxidatiemiddel voor afvalwaterzuivering en bodemsanering. De productielocatie valt o.a. onder het Seveso besluit (BRZO) (Seveso), m.a.w. “Safety first”! EPN maakt onderdeel uit van de mondiaal opererende Business Line “Active Oxygens” (AO). Business Line AO is onderdeel van Evonik’s segment “Advanced Technology”. Evonik heeft vestigingen in meer dan honderd landen en het hoofdkantoor is gevestigd in Essen, Duitsland. Binnen Evonik werken wereldwijd ca. 32.000 medewerkers. Functieomschrijving Als Manager ben je verantwoordelijk voor de afdeling Technical Services, waaronder de volgende functionarissen vallen: Process Engineer, Technologist, Project & Reliability Engineer, Buyer/Warehousekeeper, Warehouse Clerk, E&I Supervisor, Automation Specialist, M&C Supervisor, Work planners M&C/E&I and maintenance technicians (c.a. 10 personen vast/inleen). Je belangrijkste taken en verantwoordelijkheden zullen zijn: Als lid van het lokale Management Team ben jij verantwoordelijk voor de afdeling Technical Services; Je bent Manager van onderhoud en projecten op het E&I-vakgebied zowel als op het M&C-vakgebied; Je bent direct verantwoordelijk voor de hiërarchische aansturing van de E&I Supervisor, M&C Supervisor, Buyer/Warehousekeeper, Automation Specialist, Technologist, Process Engineer en Project/Reliability Engineer. Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het doen van voorstellen m.b.t. investeringen, het budgetteren en beheersen van onderhoudsuitgaven, zowel op korte als op lange termijn. Je treedt op als Projectmanager voor de uitvoering van goedgekeurde projecten; Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het beheer en onderhoud van technische installaties.       Wie ben jij ? Je hebt minimaal een afgeronde technische HBO-opleiding Minimaal 5 jaar leidinggevende ervaring in een omgeving waarin veiligheid topprioriteit is; Onderhoudservaring en ervaring met project management is een pré; Ervaring in een chemische productieomgeving is een pré; Je beschikt over goede communicatieve en sociale vaardigheden op alle niveaus; Je hebt een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal in woord en geschrift. Je hebt kennis van onderhoudssystemen (bijv. SAP, Ultimo); Je vindt het geen probleem om functie overschrijdende werkzaamheden te verrichten; Je staat met je voeten in de Groningse klei en voldoet aan de volgende classificaties: analytisch, veranderaar, flexibel hands-on, coach, leiderschap, geen 9 tot 5 mentaliteit, proactief, pragmatisch, volhardend, teamplayer en hebt een positieve instelling met een dosis humor.
