Click on the link below to learn what our employees have to say about Evonik: https ://careers.evonik.com/en/about/meet-the-team/ Job Responsibilities Responsibility for new product development and technology projects in the field of coating additives Technical support for key interfaces of the business, e.g. application technology, procurement, global supply chain management, marketing, production, product safety, regulatory guidance, IP-Management and product management, with a special focus on Asia and local organizational aspects Implementation of the innovation strategy Monitoring of IP-Landscape, especially with focus on Asia, and IP-generation to broaden IP Landscape and secure & protect own developments, processes and applications. The know-how and expertise portfolio within the area of technology is consequently developed and exchanged with global experts Providing excellent product group support for products e.g. troubleshooting, process optimization, product transfers raw material approvals, technical guidance Conceptual design and execution of scientific experiments and tests and the subsequent translation of the results into practical applications by efficient collaborations with internal and/or external partners Engage local Universities/Startups to assess them and initiate / maintain cooperation in the area of responsibility Performing analytical measurements, elucidate chemical structures and gain competitive intelligence by utilizing state of the art analytical know-how Contact to customers, when needed, is performed in professional way Requirements Ph. D or Master degree in organic/polymer chemistry Minimum 5 years of experience in interfacial chemistry, coating and ink application.
