What You Will Do: Coordinate and supervise employees in an operational unit Maintain production schedules and quality of work Review work orders, production specifications, technical instructions, facility requirements, tool requisitions, equipment, and supplies for department Coordinate employee recruitment, selection, performance assessments, work assignments, salaries, recognition/corrective actions, promotions, transfers, and terminations Review and compile operations records, such as scrap and maintenance costs May have responsibility to oversee other departments as necessary Position Details: Shift is generally M-F starting around 5:00 am and may be 8,10, or 12 hours. Additional hours and some weekend work may be required as business requires. Minimum Qualifications:   Role is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testing. Prior experience leading a team Intermediate knowledge of industrial safety Ability to execute strategies and initiatives Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite Good oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain and train Organization and time management skills Interact politely and professionally with customers and/or coworkers Preferred Qualifications: 5 years ESP specific experience, including 1 year in a supervisory role Pre-Employment requirements Drug screen Background Check Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. May stand, walk, stoop, sit, bend, twist, grasp, lift, climb,   Requires visual and hearing acuity Work primarily occurs in a heated and air-conditioned manufacturing environment but may also be performed in a shop that is not air-conditioned.
