This is a hands-on role where you will be directly responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced AI-driven test automation solutions. Integrate AI and machine learning techniques (e.g., predictive analytics, natural language processing, anomaly detection) into existing automation practices to optimize test case generation, test data management, defect prediction, and test execution. Implement best-in-class API automation frameworks (REST, SOAP, async messaging) and server-side automation for core banking systems, payments, cards, lending, treasury, and relevant protocols like FIX, ISO 8583, ISO 20022, MQ, Kafka. Develop AI-powered solutions for intelligent test case generation, leveraging Generative AI/Large Language Models (LLMs) for requirements understanding and test scenario creation. Design and deploy self-healing automation frameworks that use AI to automatically adapt to UI changes and application updates. Implement automation solutions supporting microservices and distributed systems. Technical Expertise & Execution: Apply in-depth knowledge of Python and Java to build and enhance automation frameworks. Champion BDD (Behavior Driven Development) and TDD (Test Driven Development) practices, designing scalable BDD frameworks using tools like Cucumber, Behave, JBehave, or equivalent. Embed automation early in the SDLC to support shift-left testing and enable developer-test collaboration for quality ownership. Perform rigorous data analysis to identify trends and draw actionable insights to optimize test strategies. Execute tasks and projects with a high degree of accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to established standards and deadlines. Problem Solving & Innovation: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and innovation within Corporate Banking Technology, specifically in AI Test Automation. Analyze complex technical issues related to AI/ML integration in testing, propose effective solutions, and drive their implementation. Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging AI/ML technologies, and regulatory changes within the financial sector, assessing their potential impact on test automation. Utilize anomaly detection algorithms to identify subtle defects in system behavior, performance, and data integrity. Collaboration & Communication: Work effectively as an individual contributor within a collaborative team environment, liaising with Development, QA, Environment Management, and Operations teams. Communicate complex technical concepts and findings related to AI Test Automation clearly and concisely to diverse stakeholders. Actively participate in team discussions, knowledge sharing, and peer reviews. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared objectives of enhancing software quality and accelerating delivery. Quality & Risk Management: Ensure the quality and integrity of all deliverables and processes related to AI Test Automation. Identify and escalate potential risks associated with AI/ML models used for test optimization and defect prediction, contributing to the development of mitigation strategies. Your skills and experience Associate (8-10 years): Minimum of 8 years of hands-on professional experience in software quality assurance and test automation. Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing complex test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Cucumber, etc.). Strong proficiency in Python and Java for building and enhancing automation frameworks. Experience with API Automation (REST, SOAP, MQ, Kafka) and server-side / integration automation. Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and a keen interest in their application to test automation. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar). Strong Banking & Financial Services domain knowledge, particularly in core banking systems or payments. Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality results under pressure. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Assistant Vice President (10-13 years): Minimum of 10 years of hands-on professional experience in software quality assurance and test automation, with a strong focus on architecture and strategy. Extensive and deep expertise in designing and implementing complex test automation frameworks using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Cucumber, etc.), including API Automation (REST, SOAP, MQ, Kafka), UI Automation (where applicable), and Server-side / Integration Automation. Proven hands-on experience with AI/ML concepts and their practical application in test automation with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience. This includes experience with: Generative AI / LLMs for test case generation, requirements analysis, or test data synthesis. Machine Learning for predictive analytics (e.g., defect prediction, risk-based testing). Computer Vision techniques for UI validation and visual testing. Natural Language Processing (NLP) for understanding user stories and generating tests. Anomaly detection algorithms for identifying subtle system issues. Experience in developing or integrating self-healing automation components. Expert-level proficiency in Python and Java, including data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn). A proven track record of independently leading and delivering complex technical projects or significant contributions to strategic initiatives in test automation. Deep understanding and practical application of BDD, TDD, and Shift-left Testing principles. Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar) and integrating automated tests into continuous integration and delivery processes. Strong Banking & Financial Services domain knowledge, with experience in Core Banking Systems, Payments & Transactions, Regulatory & Compliance testing, and high-volume, low-latency systems. Solid understanding of corporate banking data landscapes. Ability to act as a subject matter expert in AI Test Automation, providing guidance and insights. Demonstrated ability to anticipate technical challenges and proactively develop innovative solutions. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills. Superior communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex AI/ML concepts into practical, understandable solutions. Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution. Relevant certifications in AI/ML (e.g., deep learning, machine learning engineering), Advanced Test Automation, Agile, DevOps are a plus.
