Job Description: Job Title: Accounting Close – Cost Close, Senior Analyst Location: Manila Corporate Title : Senior Analyst Team Overview Cost Validation and Reporting team is responsible for the overall reasonableness and completeness of business’s costs which involves day to day discussions with internal stakeholders regarding any cost related item as well as timely review of MECC (MECC or Month End Cost Close means the procedures that are performed at the end of a month to close cost related books and records in the relevant system) actual balances vis a vis business expectations. Act as a bridge between various finance partners to provide direction and advisory on various cost projects, perform consultations and manage inquiries. Act as business point of contact and facilitate communication between relevant stakeholders on any issues affecting the costs. What we’ll offer you Competitive Salary Attractive Retirement Benefit Medical and Life Insurance upon employment 20 days Annual Vacation Leaves Your key responsibilities Perform and review finance and accounting process but not limited to cost calculations, cost bookings, analytical review, reconciliation, BSS substantiation, financial commentary and reporting process in adherence to Global Accounting Framework Perform review of month end functions such as review of late adjustment entries with proper root cause analysis performed on operational issues Handle direct cost related queries and recommend resolution of issues Performs sense checks/ self review of process outputs to detect irregularities, error or variances. Ensure quality of output are: in compliance with predefined processes and service level agreements/ KPIs in compliance with policies, legal and statutory requirements accurate and complete Collaborate with stakeholders and other teams for efficient execution of end-to-end operations through engagement calls Engage in change initiatives that may include but are not limited to brainstorming exercises, process improvement discussions, user acceptability testing and post deployment reviews Provides guidance to the Team by coordinating activities, answering questions and providing support, tracking progress, ensuring feedback  and addressing performance problems/issues promptly Your skills and experience Collaboration and Teamwork - You should effectively work with others towards a common goal and objective, as well as, build and maintain cooperative working relationships with others.  Client Relationship Focus - You should build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external clients to articulate and translate relationship needs/ requirements into actionable tasks and outputs.  Professionalism & Integrity- You should be able to demonstrate a courteous, conscientious and generally business-like manner in the workplace including adherence to a code (i.e. of ethics or set of values).  Flexibility, Adaptability & Innovation - You must seek and find new ways to enhance the contribution to the business; including driving for new or alternative solutions to resolve old and current problems.
